Grays Harbour Dec 25th-27th. You name it we had it. 6 to 11 deg.

We hope you all had a great Christmas, we did. The weather was wild, windy and rain. We tried to go for a walk on the beach but the wind made the rain drops feel like ice pellets. We made it for about 100 meters then turned back. There will be other days. Besides, there was a run off creek that we did not want to cross with only our shoes on. Too wide, too deep.

Back to the rig and soon it was time to put on the turkey. We had found a five pound breast at Haggens and we brought stuffing from home. It was all very good, although as usual, way too much.

I did go back and take some pictures of the drowned campsites and road. Unfortunately, the cell service here at Ft. Stevens today (Dec 18) is so low I can't load any pictures. I am having a hard time with just the text. I will update photos when I get good cell service.

Thursday, we drove down to Tokeland, It is about seven miles south of Grayland. Drove around town, checked out the sights and headed home. Left over turkey, 😕 Once every six months is good for me but I didn't want to waste it.

Friday we went up to Ocean Shores, very touristy. Kind of neat to drive around this time of year but I wouldn't want to be anywhere close during the summer. You could shop till you dropped around there.

Two hour drive from Grayland to Ft. Stevens, wet and windy. Not our favourite St. Pk. but it will do for over New Years. It is close to shopping and other amenities. A bit tricky getting into our site but with Pat's guidance, I made it, on my blind side, in one shot.

See you when I get better cell service.
