Grayland Beach St. Pk. Dec 23th-24th Sunny and warm both days 8-11deg, lots of rain at night.

It's a five hour drive from Bay View St Pk. to Grayland Beach St. Pk., long for us these days. The traffic was good for the most part; it did slow down in a couple of places but not too bad. It is always nice to get off I-5 and head for the coast. The weather being good did make the drive a lot nicer.

Once we got to our campsite and set up, it was time to trim the tree.

Pat quilted this two years ago and I made the ornaments and hung the lights. We are now all set for the fat man.

It poured rain last night but was very warm, I don't think it went below 9deg. Sunny all day today with highs of 11 or so, very nice. The forecast is for lots of rain, the same at home I think.

We took a drive into Westport this afternoon and stopped at the beach.

Here comes the storm.

Our campsite is not under water yet but we will see what happens. Some of the sites closer to the beach are lakes, I will try to get some photos of them tomorrow.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.

Hartley and Pat
